Meet Jolene

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

Hi, I’m Jolene – a wellness enthusiast, organizer, and creative who believes life feels better when we slow down, simplify, and savor the little things. After years of feeling stuck in stress and burnout, I began a journey to heal, find joy again, and create a life that truly feels good.

Now I help others do the same — through intentional habits, cozy home spaces, and everyday wellness that fits real life.

When I’m not creating, organizing or coaching, you’ll find me planning parties and cabin getaways, crafting DIY projects, or building a killer charcuterie board (with plenty of cheese, pickles, and a margarita in hand). Around here, it’s not about perfect — it’s about brighter.

FAQ

I’ve been blogging on and off since 2013! My very first blog, Designs by Jolene, was all about home projects, crafting, and paper goods. That passion grew into my first small business creating custom wedding invitations and stationery, which later evolved into my Etsy shop — Handmade on Half Street.

Over time, the shop expanded from paper to wood — handmade furniture, signs, and home goods — thanks to a lot of teamwork (and sawdust!) with my husband.

Blogging became my way to share our projects, creativity, and the joy of making things by hand. Today, it’s come full circle — into the lifestyle and wellness space I’ve dreamed about for years — a place to inspire intentional living, creativity, and feeling good in everyday life.

My wellness and organizing journey began when life felt anything but well or organized. I was overwhelmed, anxious, and searching for balance — trying to keep up instead of truly living. Over time, I learned that small, intentional habits and a simplified home could completely shift how I felt.

Decluttering my space helped quiet my mind, and prioritizing my health brought back my energy and joy. What started as a way to cope slowly became a way to thrive. Now, I love helping others do the same — to create calm, clarity, and a life that simply feels good again.
